Last weekend I went to Chicago by myself to get my 'city fix' and to spend some quality time with my family. I had such a nice time. When I arrived Emily and I went on a long walk/jog to the lake. Later that night we all went to a Korean restaurant in Andersonville. Great choice - good atmosphere and great food. The next day Justin, Emily, and I watched a little bit of the Chicago Marathon, which was amazing. Very emotional. After we dried our tears, we fed our faces with bagels and headed to the Museum of Contemporary Art. They are celebrating their 40th year anniversary, so entry was free. Bonus! Plus, they were having a free concert in the courtyard area. Perfect big city free fun! We returned home and waited for Lauren to show up. As we waited, we drank wine and played yhatzee (how do you spell that?). Again, perfect. I just couldn't design a better evening - hanging with my family, waiting for even more family to arrive, drinking wine, and playing games. The only thing that could've made it better is if Matt was there. After Lauren arrived, we headed to a local Sushi restaurant and tried to answer/argue with Justin about hypothetical masturbation scenarios. The perfect end to a perfect day!

We took a drink break and sat in the outdoor restaurant area. I would not recommend the Izze soda. Pretty bottles, but yuck.

Weird yellow modern art.
