I can't believe one month has come and gone already. We still don't really have a routine down yet, but we are getting better at juggling two kids. Henry is a tad bit needy at times, but overall he is quite lovely. Not a huge crier, but does like to be held. LOVES to poop. A lot of poop going on in this household. He quickly got a pretty severe diaper rash, which is now almost entirely gone. I credit that to the blow dryer. We blow his bottom dry after each cleaning. That combined with vaseline as a barrier cream, frequent dips in the tub, and a squirt bottle to rinse his tush instead of frequent wipes has worked wonders. Henry smiled at me 2 or 3 times yesterday and he was wide awake looking at me. Not the falling asleep smile. He liked it when I shook my hair in front of his face. That was nice. I was craving a little feedback from my little guy. The above picture is after our bath today. That picture kind of weirds me out, if you click on it I think Henry looks like a perfect combination of my Mom (mouth) and my Mother-in-law (eyes). The pictures below are where we spend a lot of our time together - on the changing table.
