38 Weeks

4 cm dilated, 90% effaced, -1 station. I was disappointed to not make much more progress today, but the Dr. pointed out that I can't make much more progress without being in labor at this point. He also offered to induce me, but I declined. I love the excitement of the unknown and have no desire to schedule my delivery. Perhaps next week I might change my mind, but today I'm soaking up this wonderful pregnancy and waiting for my body to do its thing.
