Big Boy Bed

I snapped this after Harrison had fallen asleep one night. He even has a big boy pillow!

On a whim one day we decided to transition Harrison to his big boy bed. Emily had taken Harrison for a few hours while Matt and I worked on Harrison's 'big boy room' and the new nursery and we decided right before Harrison was to be dropped off for his nap that we would make the big move. We quickly moved the crib to the new baby's nursery, moved the twin mattresses into Harrison's room, made the bed, and surprised Harrison just in time. He loved it! He didn't seem to miss the crib at all. He didn't even seem to miss his precious aquarium that we had attached to his crib from day one. It's been a couple of weeks now and the transition was seamless. He sleeps through the night, no falls, and he doesn't get out of bed. (Well, he did get out of bed today during his nap for the first time, but I scolded him and that took care of that!). Now we just have to transition from mattresses on the floor to the actual twin bed frame.
