Los Angeles Trip

My Mom and I just got back from a visit to Los Angeles to visit Lauren and Jeff. We had a blast, as always. The three of us are really good at just being together. No major activities or events needed, just time, which there is never enough of . And Pinkberry. But I didn't take many pictures. In fact, I have none with all three of us and only one of Lauren. I think Mom has some so I might post more later when I get those. Here are a few.
Mom got her hair cut. She likes to do this on her trips. And she always says, "Just give me something funky. I like it to be different and fun, asymmetrical perhaps" . The 'Ohm' salon did not disappoint. Mom had a very funky, asymmetrical, Mia Farrow type of cut. Very cute.
Here is our driver. Lauren was gorgeous, glowing, radiant, and all of those cliche terms you hear used to describe pregnant women. But it was true, she really was all of those things. And a touch gassy.
The salon where Mom got her hair done. Loved the swings.
Front view of Mom's new do.
I liked the detail in these old windows.
While Lauren was teaching a class, Mom, Annie, Joe, and I got together for an afternoon at the beach. You can't go wrong with the classic pyramid pose. Joe definitely added some flare to our pyramid.
Annie and Joe took us to a beach in Malibu. Right next to an abandoned building surrounded by chain link fence. Actually, it was perfect. Not many people around at all. It was gorgeous. And we LOVED Annie's $2 beach chairs in a variety of colors. It was so nice to catch up with the cousins! Can't wait until next time.
Thank you Lauren and Jeff for hosting us. We had a wonderful time. Loved the food (especially the chicken piccata thanks to Jeff), loved the restaurants, loved our morning breakfast spot, loved the farmer's market, loved our many Pinkberry visits, loved the drives around town, loved meandering through the boutiques in Venice, loved getting to know Jeff better, loved feeling little Leo's movements through Lauren's belly, loved going through all of Leo's gifts, loved hanging out on the couch together. Thank you.

Tell your mom I love the new haircut! She is so gorgeous, as are her two daughters.
