Pentwater 2012: Cherry Point Market (fish boil)

One of our favorite Michigan experiences this year was the fish boil at the Cherry Point Market.  It was a big hit for adults and kids alike.  Fire can make anything awesome [Matt typing here...as Danza does not agree].

This guy appeared to be the Firemaster and quickly earned our respect.

Apparently it costs over $3,000 to purchase an official fish-boil cauldron but our host admitted that she just stole the design and had a metalsmith make her one for much less.

Poor Harrison.  He is constantly tormented by Henry lately which he normally tolerates well....until he stands up and lays out little h, then everyone starts crying and everyone goes to time out.

The giant kerosene inferno is not only rad, it's also an integral part of the chemistry of a fish boil.  Read more here and here.

Henry was trying to pick up this rock for our nature jar.
