Puffs!

Oh, the sticky goodness of puffs! Puffs are the standard beginning finger food these days. They look like cheerios, but they are lighter and fluffier and dissolve almost immediately when in contact with saliva. Therefore, a very minimal risk of choking. It's the kind of thing that drives my Dad crazy. My Dad says things like, "We used to choke all of the time back when I was a kid." or "So what if you got an anaphylactic reaction from peanut butter, big deal."
Anyway, Matt and I quickly realized after we started Henry on puffs recently that we had a dog last time we introduced this magic food into our lives. Sage really made the beginning stages of feeding easy for us. Half-dissolved puffs are a booger to clean up, especially if you let them dry. Matt claims he cut his finger on a dried puff the other day.
That growth on Henry's cheek is a cluster of puffs.
