Bubbe was our house guest this weekend and we loved it. She watched Harrison last night so Matt and I could go to dinner together. And we even stopped at Target on the way home and roamed the aisles with this wonderful sense of freedom. We quickly realized that having the freedom and time to aimlessly wander through Target isn't necessarily a good thing. Boring. We got back into the truck and brought Bubbe our leftover food from our favorite Indian restaurant, Shanti.
Highlights from today included being able to shop with my Mom on our own for a few hours, taking Harrison to the Bakehouse for his afternoon snack, Skyping with Lauren and Leo, and then settling onto the couch with each other to watch the Golden Globes (so awful and boring) while eating pizza from Avers.
