Plus one.

After a long hiatus from blogging, I am back plus one. As everyone (I don't know what I'm talking about, I don't think there is an 'everyone' anymore - I need to build up my blogger fan base again) knows by now Matt and I had a baby. Harrison Matthew was born on September 9th at 5:27 pm. He weighed a perfect 7 lbs and was a shrimpy 19 inches. He is truly wonderful and amazing in so many ways!!! Of course, our lives were quite difficult, exhausting, and stressful for the first few weeks, but we are having a blast now! We are really enjoying watching our little guy grow and change so quickly before our eyes.

I was going to try to catch everyone up with the events and happenings since Harrison's birth, but that felt a bit too overwhelming, so instead I'm just going to start fresh from today.

As you can see from the blur, he is a mover and a shaker. The polka-dot outfit is one of Harrison's favorites - given to him by his Bubbe (Diane/Mom). It is also the outfit he wore home from the hospital and he is just about to grow out of it. Sad.

Harrison is not a big fan of tummy time, yet. He can say so much with his eyes.
Harrison loves when his Bubbe comes to visit. However, this is right before Mom leaned over to pick something up from the ground and almost squeezed the life right out of Harrison. He let out a yelp that I had never heard from him before and haven't heard since.
